RMSC took 11 of 19 PVS Outstanding Athlete Awards for 2022-23.
The Outstanding athlete award recognizes one athlete by age and gender ages 9 to 18. It is voted on by the PVS Competiton Committee based on records, national and pvs rankings and meet performance.
Congratulations to Julia Carrick (9 year old girls), Jenna Ryan (11 year old girls), Rafael Fontana (11 year old boys), Jeremiah Germosen (12 year old boys), Angela Kadoorie (15 year old girls), Cooper Zakorchemny (15 year old boys), Andrea Dworak (16 year old girl), Adriano Arioti (16 year old boy), Madison Smith (17 year old girl), Jed Garner (17 year old boy) and Toby Barnett (18 year old boy)
In the PVS Outstanding Distance Award category, which is awarded to the swimmer with the fastest time in the Women's 800m free, Women's 1000y free, Men's 1500m free and Men's 1650y free, RMSC took 3 of 4 awards. Congratulations to Brady Begin for taking the Men's 1650 free and Madison Smith for winning both awards in the Women's 800m free and 1000y free.
